Why Does Death Come In The Way It Does?

Alexis ran down the hall to her room and slammed the door, tears streaming do her face. Threw the black blanket that covered her bed onto the floor and grabbed her pillow. She buried her face into it and screamed. Alexis shook out of fear and frustration. "Its my fault!! Its all my fault.." Alexis threw the pillow away and sat up. She thought about a few days ago. She remembered her mothers pale face and Dark eyes, and tonight she remember how lifeless her mother had seemed. Her eyes were darker then before and she barely seemed alive, though now she wasn't alive at all. Alexis remembered the drips of blood that stained her mother's face and how scared she was standing there watch unsure of what was going to happen. Alexis looked up and tear poured down her face. "Today was not suppose to end like this..." she stood up and looked around her room. She was only 3 years old and now she wasn't sure what to do. She wished she could go to sleep herself and not wake up only to be found dead, though she knew that would never happen. Alexis started to shake, she fell to the floor, crying and shaking till she fell asleep.
